Time is money so let's keep this short.
Mistake 1 - Targeting Your Niche
A common mistake that most internet marketers make is they do not focus on one target audience.
For example, internet marketing is a big industry that can relate to any type of target audience What you need to do is target a specific audience so you can have a higher conversion rate in sales and downline growth.
Mistake 2 - Relationship with List
This is probably the most common mistake where people do not take the time to communicate with their downline.
Remember that they joined your team looking for answers to their problems and if you cannot answer them or reply to their needs then they will leave and join another list.
Also your subscribers will forget about you if you do not take the time to communicate with them. Keep in mind that a typical customer needs to be reminded at least 7 times before they make an initial purchase so it's extremely important to have a tight relationship with your list.
Mistake 3 - Treating Your List Right
This kind of falls into the same category as mistake number two where communicating with your downline is key.
You have to make each subscriber on your list feels important by addressing them individually rather than as a group. For example:
Addressing your team as a group - Attention group, learn how to drive more traffic to your capture page
or
Addressing your team as individuals - Chris, here's how to drive more traffic to your capture page.
If you address each member personally you will get a better response when it comes to sales. There is email marketing software that can help you do this so you do not have to do it manually.
Mistake 4 - Over Selling
Your primary objective is to sell but you are not going to get there if you skip the whole process and go right to selling.
In order to sell you need to help your customers first where as a leader you have to provide your downline with useful tips to help them grow their business.
Like I said before, your customer has to be reminded 7 times before an initial purchase so take your time and be patient trust me it works.
